How can I do this using Mac OS X?

I have two computers... Is there a way I can work on a file on one computer, save it, and somehow have it available on the air where I can download it on the 2nd computer and just pick up where I left off?

Can iCloud do this? If I save the file, does it automatically save to the iCloud
