Are these permissions correct for the system drive?

I just happened to notice that the permissions of my boot drive are unusual. They say:

Name Privilege

system Read & Write
wheel Read only
everyone Read only



I am still using Mavericks, by the way. Is that normal? I also have a partition with Snow Leopard and there it says:

system Read & Write
admin Read & Write
everyone Read only...

Are these permissions correct for the system drive?
