Mouse slows down in 1 specific app???

Hello

For the past day or so, despite shutdowns and restarts, the mouse speed dramatically slows down whenever I work in Pages. As soon as I switch to another app (or the Finder), it returns to normal. I tried resetting it in the system pref, but no change.

[Edit] Solved: it was the steelseries app controlling my rival mouse that unexpectedly changed its settings. No idea why. Solved now.
