I remove icons from the dock but they back every time i open the program

Hey guys,

having an issue with icons coming back into the dock after i open a program again. for example i removed all of the icons for the adobe suite from my dock but when i open a program like photoshop and then close it, the icon stays in the dock again. its annoying. is there a way to stop this from happening every time?
